ICI is pleased to present a conversation on collecting between Detroit based artist Mario Moore and Stephanie James, Curator of the Mott-Warsh Collection—a private collection of fine art created by artists of the African diaspora and others who reflect on it. The talk will be moderated by Neil A. Barclay, President and CEO of The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, which holds the world’s largest permanent exhibit on African American culture and recently opened a solo exhibition of Moore's work entitled, Enshrined: Presence + Preservation (June 3 – September 19, 2021), curated by Taylor Renee Aldridge.
