We were watching the slash of the violent red sun setting through the large clouds that loomed over the lake. The rays came through the hole in the sky and created a pale blue oval across the murky purple water. The pool was tranquil while the other waters rippled. It seemed to us to be an ephemeral sundial, ever fleeting. We marveled at its beauty and waiting for it to slip away. Yet it stayed. Remaining with us, beautifully. That's our store.
