M Contemporary Art
M Contemporary Art opened in Ferndale in early 2018. Founded by Melannie Chard, The gallery represents emerging and established Detroit-based artists whose work spans from painting and sculpture to photography and mixed-media.
Featured work includes pieces from Scott Vincent Campbell and Grant Czuj. Both Campbell and Czuj have exhibited extensively at M Contemporary Art and spent the last year pursuing their MFA's - Campbell at the University of Chicago and Czuj at Yale. This exhibition contains work from earlier in the artists practice and pieces produced at their respective MFA programs. Both artists work in various mediums around the theme of identity. Their 2 person exhibition Familiar openens on June 25th at M Contemporary Art.
